Texas is one of the most confusing states I have lived in yet! In Florida, you knew it would rain around 2 pm and otherwise be hot and humid. But in Texas, it will go from below freezing in the morning, to 70 in the afternoon.
I will say though that this time of year the weather is overall amazing – Comfy in jeans and a light sweater. Perfect for walking the pup at the park and enjoying the sunshine.
I wanted to share two of my favorite sweaters/pullovers for the bipolar weather. I am a huge lover of both the plaid and animal print trends!
This leopard print oversized sweater is from Altar’d State. It is super oversized (wearing a xs/s) so definitely size down! It’s super soft and even though its printed it is very neutral toned and easy to match. Unfortunately, it’s only available in store, but I linked some other options below. I paired it with slip on sneakers (Steve Madden dups from target!) and black jeans – but it would go great with leggings too since it covers your butt.
This plaid half-zip fleece is a bargain Old Navy find. Very warm and fits true to size. This one is more of a cropped boxy fit. Buffalo plaid is my favorite, but if you’re not in to the bright red or print there are some other plaids or plain colors available too! Same black jeans and sneaks with a longer white long sleeve underneath for some extra warmth.
